Welcome from FelineGood

A home without a cat is just a house

About

Hello from FelineGood South Croydon

My name is Pippa - a caring, professional cat sitter based in Sanderstead, South Croydon and covering surrounding areas.

I've lived locally in South Croydon all my life, and have been a loving cat owner for over 40 years. I have particular experience in caring for anxious and rehomed cats and multi-cat households.

I’m currently at the service of three beautiful cats, a mother and her two kittens my family and I rehomed via a local rescue charity.

I understand how stressful it can be to worry about your feline friend when you are away or at work, and I have looked after the cats and small animals of friends and family over several years.

I am now offering a flexible (and if required, emergency) cat sitting service so you can have peace of mind and your cat(s) can stay in the peace and comfort of their familiar surroundings, without the upheaval of going to a cattery.

I can come to your home and care for your cats (and other small indoor animals), feeding, playing, litter cleaning and of course cuddling and stroking.

All cats are individuals, just like people, and have differing needs. I am very happy to work around your requirements. While you're away, we'll treat your cat as would our own, so that you can rest easy that they are being lovingly cared for.

I am also happy to water your plants, put the bins out, bring post in and switch lights on, with no extra cost.

I am enhanced DBS checked, fully insured, and have undertaken 150 CPD hours to achieve diplomas in Feline Behaviour and Psychology, and Feline First Aid.

What We Can Do For Your Feline Friend

Cat sitting

One or two visits per day (approximately 30 minutes each) to include feeding, watering and bowl cleaning. Removing soiled litter/cleaning the tray according to requirements. Lots of play and interaction of course. Happy to administer medication, groom as necessary and undertake agreed extras eg bins out, post in, plants watered, switching lights on in different rooms. Update and photos via WhatsApp/email/call.

From £15 for one visit per day and £25 for twice in a day. If you have more than three cats/other small indoor animals, we suggest you book a double appointment so that we can give them all the attention they need.

Shift worker and bespoke service

If you are a shift worker, you may be working nights or starting very early or finishing very late. We offer a flexible service, often available at short notice. We can also offer bespoke service to suit particular needs.  Examples include specific medication requirements more than once/twice a day or a cat who would benefit from a longer stay.

Prices and duration varies.

Extra services

Please get in touch with us if there is something else we can do to help - maybe you also have other small animals who need care whilst you are away or out.

Perhaps your cat needs a routine vet appointment - we are able to provide a cat cab service and take your feline friend in your provided cat basket, stay at the vet with them if required, or just collect and drop home.

Prices and duration varies.

Can you give my cat medication?

FelineGood is comfortable administering medicine and has undertaken a Feline First Aid course. Detailed information will be taken  when we come to meet you and your feline friend as well as updated as necesssary prior to future visits.

What do you do if my cat is unwell while I am away?

Fortunately this is a rare occurrence, and we look out for any sign of illness or injury when we visit. If we feel your cat needs to go to the vet, we will try to speak with you first. If we are unable to contact you or your emergency contact we will act in the best interests of the cat and take veterinary advice. We will use your provided cat basket to transport your cat and keep you updated. If out of hours we will take to an appropriate emergency vet service. There is a charge of £20 and £20 for every hour of ongoing emergency care.

What are your charges and how do I pay for cat sitting?

We charge a STANDARD RATE except NYD, Easter Sunday, 25 and 26 Dec. We want to accomodate your cat's routine and feeding times, and will agree with you whether you require a morning visit, an afternoon or evening visit (or both). These visits will be between 7.00 am and 7.00pm. If you require specific times before or after these times, it will be a bespoke service. If you have more than three cats/other small indoor animals, we suggest you book a double appointment so that we can give them all the attention they need.

We request payment to be made in advance of the first sitting. We prefer payment via BACS (we do accept cash/cheque). There is no cancellation fee if cancelled over 24 hours prior to the first sitting. If within 24 hours we charge the cost of the first sitting.

How does the cat sitting service work?

Book your cat sitting/contact us for further information via: www.felinegood.uk or  07712 443416 or pippa@felinegood.uk.

We will arrange a NO COST initial appointment at your home or via zoom/Whatsapp video if you prefer. We want to get to know your cat and you, and will discuss your feline requirements, including location of food, litter and cleaning/disposal products, key/alarm arrangements, vet details, any medication needs, and emergency contacts. For ease, we will bring the paperwork to complete at that appointment so you don't have to fill anything out in advance. Subsequent bookings will just require notification of any updates that we need to know.

All Services include: • Feeding and watering daily/twice daily and cleaning bowls and litter trays (We won't visit your cat every other day only. Cats need fresh food and water, clean litter, interaction, play and welfare checks each day.)

• Bespoke services upon request eg shift worker late/early visits or full day sitting • Playing, chin rubs, grooming if your cat is partial to it, and fun! • Updates with photos of your feline friend via email/Whatsapp/telephone call as required.

How do you keep our keys and home safe?

We will keep your keys secure, coded for identification and away from identifying details. We will return them to you free of charge once you return, or you can collect them from us - we won't post through the letterbox in case you are delayed and we need to make an emergency visit. Alternatively, we’re very happy to keep hold of your keys securely between bookings.

We will bring  in parcels and your post, put bins out, water your indoor plants, switch lights on/off as agreed. We won't advertise FelineGood as a cat sitting service on our vehicles or clothing, in order not to draw attention to you being away.
